Come on now. Is your ex male or female?
Did you lie to us at some point? (Her is not a typo by the way. Not even close to his.)
Remember, her ex received a large monetary settlement and rather than use it to pay back child support, ex used it for reassignment surgery after finding out they were "transgender". I'm sure "She" is still very much a "He" in OP's mind.

Yes, my ex has had gender reassignment therapy. She received a large settlement (at least 25k) and had the surgery. As I was married to him for over a dozen years, I have a very difficult time thinking of my ex as female. When we were separated, my ex sought therapy for depression, which lead to a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder and narcissism. He stopped his medicine, switched doctors and then after a while there was a new diagnosis of gender identity disorder. I believe the surgery was in 2010. So, my ex was male is now legally female. I try to remember to use the appropriate pronouns, but I mess it up every now and then. And no, not sorry for the confusion-you are just sharing mine.

Her ex actually DID have gender reassignment surgery.
Somehow I missed it or forget about it. Apparently, my comment
It should contain details on Torimac's ex's sex change operation as well.
stands as being correct. Apologies for my confusion. I thought Torimac was a girl but then she kept referring to the ex as "her" and "she" and I got lost and confused. So I apologize for asking if she was lying. It seemed to come out of nowhere. Where are the posts about gender reassignment? In this thread? Or another. I am so lost. Shouldn't be on here while taking Nyquil. Again, Tori, I am sorry.

Nah. I didn't remember. My medicated state may have something to do with that. Sincere apologies, Torimac!

I am sorry. I should not have asked if you were lying as I forgot/didn't know/don't remember that that happened. It just seemed an abrupt change. Sincerely, I am sorry. (And you also could have been hacked considering there are a few around here that have attempted hacking others.)

It's mentioned in the very beginning of this thread - 4+ years ago. *I wouldn't have remembered, if I hadn't started at the beginning of this thread and read through it.

Post 11... found it. Blah. Should not be working today but not choice so I come here for breaks. Blegh. Again, my apologies. I hope it is accepted.

No worries, it is all confusing. Not that gender matters much more and more states deal with marriage equality issues, but I am a woman. I married a man. After our divorce, my ex became a woman through SRS and legal documents.
Back to the issue of years of arrears, now at $62000.
If I file for contempt, that will have to happen in NV, correct? As a refresher, the original order was made in CA. I moved to TX, my ex moved to NV. I registered the order with TX and asked for collection/enforcement help. The case with CA Child Support was closed as I now have an open case in TX.

Call CSEA in NV and ask them about felony charges for non support. Then call the prosecutor where your ex lives and ask to file a complaint for non support. The order HAS TO HAVE BEEN domesticated however in NV for that to apply. Where has the order been domesticated? The other thing to consider is your order should have a NKA on it -- now known as -- because I am assuming your ex changed her name rather than going by your ex's name? Okay my head is now spinning. (Flu shots aren't 100%)

The order was domesticated while it was open in CA. When CA closed their enforcement, NV closed the account. TX is the only one with orders. I found the petition to domestic a foreign order for the correct county in NV. Am I correct in assuming this is what is needed to have Nevada pay attention to the order? And once domesticated, I can then call the prosecutor and ask to file a complaint.

The order does not have a NKA as attached to it. I have no idea how to do that and do not see any paperwork on the NV site for that. My ex has changed her name when her gender changed.
