Phoenix Arizona ive had a bad water leak in my in laundry room which i did not notice apparently there was already a bucket ready for it.In My rental agreement contract i have the right to move if there is a leak if the owner does not fix it.Its has ben a month since i have said some thing for 1-2 weeks they said they would have somebody come over and fix it no one shows up.2 weeks later they tell me the landlord would fix it and they have never heard from since.They now live in new Mexico.So they have neglected it for a month(i also have them txt saying they would fix it but never did) which is in my contract.I am also having trouble with power.Do i have the power to move and break the lease and what do i need to do.(i (Also have them saying in txt msgs that they would fix it but never did)

No i have not this is my first time ever dealing with this first time renter.How can i get out of here?I dont the process of these things what are the steps?

for what ever reason he has never told me his new address in fact he still sends his mail to my address

what are the steps to getting out?The owner wont even answer phone calls or txt and sends his mail to mine.How do i legally break it ?

the easiest address for the landlord is the one the county sends property tax bills to , call your county govt center ask for property tax information desk and give them your address and ask them to look up and tell you to where your landlords property tax bills are sent , even if its the address you are now renting send out a certified letter with your repair request. If after a time the letter is sent back to you do not open it, leave it sealed so its in original condition if you ever need it for a court hearing of any kind related to this property. If you have to you are also free to bring in city inspector and let them write a order to the LL to make the repair, if the LL wont comply then inspections can condemn which cancels your lease.
