I would write out a detailed paper outlining you have advised your child to exercise their right to remain silent and as their parent, you do not authorize any Administrator, teacher, school resource officer or police officer called or used by the school or any other school district employee to question your child regarding any acts beyond the interaction required by the student/teacher relationship for teaching purposes without you being present.

Take it to the office and ask the sect'y to copy and sign/stamp dated receipt of your directive. It takes some of the heat off your child and when they elect to engage in discussion, they are then doing the administrator a favor, not obstructing them because you have told them they are to do otherwise.

Thank you! That is fabulous advice. I did not even think of that.

Merry Christmas:)
