What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? No State - I live in London, United Kingdom.

My query is: I paid someone to do the music production for several songs I wrote and received the finished product - a song demo. I see that he is selling the music produced for my songs on his website giving people the option to pay a choice of 3 license agreements of the music he produced for my song demos. Is this right? Usually when I do a song demo, I am of the opinion that I paid to have the music produced for my original song and only I should have the right to use it. Yes the songs are only song demos which I am pitching to music professionals but I also am pitching the songs to be used in movies, tv shows or other opportunities if I feel the song is appropropriate. I can also submit to publisher if I wish to try get a publishing deal. But the music produced for my original song demos is even being offered for someone to pay for exclusive rights if they want to. This just doesn't seem right. So if someone pays for exclusive rights for a demo I paid for - music that was produced to my lyrics and melody, am I all of a sudden not able to use my song demo as I wish? Thanks for helping me out of this. It just doesn't seem right in my opinion.
