California. I signed a release of liability form when picking up a motorcycle from the repair shop. The bike is not mine though. It is my dads bike. He paid for the repairs. I drove the bike less than one mile and it broke down after being "repaired". Because the bike legally is not mine does that void the release of liability agreement that I signed? Is the repair shop still responsible for the bike?

I'd like to see the answers to JLM's questions. As well, I suspect that you were functioning as an agent of your father when you signed this "release".
