Incomplete work

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

We have contracted a company to complete market research and a feasibility study into a new business. They have become more and more difficult to contact to the point where they are now no longer available at all. The work has not been completed. We have provided them with a retainer fee prior to the work commencing and we would like to get in contact with a legal firm who is willing to represent us in recouping the fees paid.

Any advice would be great.
