Apparently my dad and my brother went to uh... wherever it is you go to do the deed... and they said that my sons names can't go on it because they are minors... they are teenagers.... and my dad said that he wants it out of his name because at his age of 85, if he were to die, he said that we would have to pay alot of money for... ??? I don't know... so by putting in my name and now my brother's name, it's ours... hmmmm... my brother said that his name is on 1/2 the house instead of my dad, but that I have to go down next week to sign a paper too... another reason this bothered me is because I know my brother... my oldest son is special needs... so my only want for this is so my son will have security when I'm gone... he'll have a home... so now my brother tells me that when dad dies, he wants to sell the house and move up north... WTF...

Ok, so your dad gave away his half of the property. He had the right to do that. However make sure you read very very carefully anything you are asked to sign, and do not sign anything that you are not comfortable signing.

so you can just give your half of the house to anyone without the other 1/2 owner having anything to say??? so, I can just give my 1/2 to some guy on the street corner.... I just may do that..

Instead of all the melodrama, why don't you just deed your half back to your father and be done with it.
