we hired a mechanic to do some work on our truck, he said he owned the shop, took our truck, we paid him $1,000 cash in advance for the work since we needed the truck right away , we made him sign a paper where he says he got paid $1,000.
he fixed it we went pick it up, was supposed to send bill and then calls and says we owe the shop $800 dollars. and the shop guy called the police on us and says he ll put a lean on the truck. i called and explained that we paid this mechanic who we hired already $1,000 so they in fact owe us $200 dollars and the guy at the shop said he didnt know and we needed to pay him, i said i did not hire him to do so, i hired this mechanic and he already got paid for the work and he hanged up on me.
mechanic wouldnt answer the phone after he said that money we gave him was for a transmission they never putted in or gave it to us.
