I paid $2000 as a down payment to get my car repair on Jan 8th 2015 till now 11/20/2015, he has not completed my car and now he has abandon it.

What can I sue him for?

Time, stress? I also went without a car for 10 months which lead me to losing my job. Please help me with legal advises on what I can sue him for.

You can sue him for the $2,000...the rest is one you. Why did you leave it sitting there for 10 months? By the way...it's 11/10/2015, not 11/20/2015.
