I took 6 units. Dropped a class leaving me at 3, added another class which put me back at 6. According to them the dropped class is still 3 units. Could not have known such a thing. I thought dropping a class and paying it back would basically mean it's dropped. Gone. Wiped.
You knew you missed the deadline to drop. Or you SHOULD HAVE KNOWN if you actually performed your due diligence.

You are an idiot. Why should I work for free? You don't.
It wouldn't be working for free if they gave a consultation and said I had a good case. If I didn't have a case then well I'm out of luck. It wouldn't be working for free. Some of your rudeness is pretty amazing when I'm coming on here asking for advice. You call me a teenager when you're hurling insults?

Ummm, every year, when you fill out the FAFSA it clearly laws out the guidelines. We have been doing it with our kids for years. Apparently you are not college material if you cannot understand basic contracts.
I have a 3.8 GPA so I'm doing pretty good. Yeah well I don't know every detail of everything. Sorry I am not a know it all like you.

Let's look at this from a different tack:

You reside in Nevada, but you attend school in California, right? What school are we talking about? Why do you feel that you qualify as a resident for tuition purposes?
I lived and was born in California. I moved to Nevada and am attending school here. College of Southern Nevada.

I didn't call you a teenager. I said you are an idiot. I won't work for free. You want me to represent you, you pay for it. So yeah, it would be working for free. Can't take these types of cases on CONTINGENCY. Seriously.

The volunteers here, including the Attorney, are trying to help. If you are so ....resistant... to said help. That is on you.

BTW...Sometimes there is no better way to call someone an idiot...but just saying "idiot". ;)

Speak to the ombudsman...that's really the only hope you have. YOU applied as a non-resident.

Dude, you're THIRTY years old. it's not believable that you don't understand how a contingency fee works. Really.

I worked for free at my college repairing computers for idiots like you. Why should I work for free?
You didn't repair a computer for me. You know nothing about my background with computers. Again, proving you are an idiot. I didn't say you should work for free. That is a choice YOU made. You seem to expect an attorney to work for free though on the assumption that is what happens. Nope.

Exactly how long did you go to school to learn how to repair computers? Exactly how much did you pay for that schooling? Exactly how much did you pay for the office, utilities, etc.?

It's not even comparable.

For the record, I've been taking apart and building computers since the 80's - it don't mean much to me.

AGAIN, at THIRTY, you should know this. Yes.
Why? I've never had a lawyer before and I'm coming on a forum asking lawyers a question about something. Well that's a nice opinion. Who cares? It's irrelevant to anything and insulting someone asking for advice. If I came into your law office would you call me an idiot to my face? No you wouldn't. Unbelievable.
