Survivors benefits to children adopted by a couple within the same family

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tx
This is a 2 part question. 1st can children that have been adopted by an aunt and uncle after the death of the father and the mothers rights have been terminated receive survivors benefits from bio father? 2nd when adoptive parents divorced the NCP is ordered to pay child support for the same children. NCP doesn't have a problem with paying CS, it seems though as if CP is getting support for same children from 2 different NCP.

You should contact the folks at Social Security with your first question. Your second question doesn't make sense. Once the adoption took place, there are only two parents, so there can't be two different NCP's.

Once they have been adopted, their well being is covered by their new parents. You do not get to stack them with the SSA.
