First time user. Just wanted to know what nonsuit/settlement/vol. dismissal means when it's at the bottom of a divorce case on the Court site. I'm very ignorant of the law, as you can tell. Are the people divorced or has the case been dismissed..are they still married?

I cannot say with certainty but since it says voluntary dismissal, I believe they are still married people. To me that says the parties simple dropped the suit, hence the term; nonsuit.

It would help to know the US state, but I agree with justalayman that the case has very likely been dismissed.
