I am a renter who has been living at a rental for 6 months and it started foreclosure but was sold supposedly. The realtor had threatened me to leave and also paid someone to get rid of me which in fact confirmed it to the police. Now the powers out and code enforcement tagged it uninhabitable that same day/Eve someone had broke in and stole a lot of my stuff. I do have actually proof of most of this happening but as soon as I mention rental I'm brushed off I'm on disability for being blind I really need help in recovering my losses. Calif

If you have a lease, the new owner of the property needs to honor that lease and its terms. If the rental is uninhabitable, however, you can be forced to leave the premises.

Any theft of your belongings needs to be reported to the police. Whether you can "recover your losses" can depend on the police discovering who stole your items.

If you have PROOF, you need to present exactly what happens, but your entire post is rather nonsensical.

If the property is sold (other than through foreclosure), your lease remains in effect with the new owner.
If the property is foreclosed, California law still makes them honor the lease (subject to a 90 day notice).

We can't see what you were 'told' by the realtor or the "police."

The place was considered habital until just days ago. The only reason it became uninhabitable is because they are stripping the place completely down removed walls and so forth

I have no idea what you mean by the above.

I'm sorry but we can't understand what you are saying.

The realtor can not FORCE out people out of a property. They can ENCOURAGE you to leave (often offering some cash incentive). If they have legal grounds to force you out, they can go to court and obtain an eviction. Only at that point will the police (well typically the sheriff's office) get involved. I don't kwow what you were doing with the police or what you think they told you but I suspect you didn't understand int properly.

The habitability seems to have nothing to do with the situation (you can forget it), you say you had already moved out by then.
If you volutarily moved out (even if you believe you were coerced) and you didn't take all your stuff, it's not anybody's fault other than your own that it was stolen or even just discarded.

You should take any records of you have of these conversations to a lawyer because you seem to be not able to make a coherent description here.
