What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oklahoma. I have been garnished for a vehicle my and my wife both signed for we have been separated. For a little over 5yrs I have been pay on this for a few yrs is there any way to have her pay her Part it was both of our vehicle

Not divorced?

Sorry, nothing you can do about it until you get divorced and the divorce decree says who does what with the car and the loan.

Her part? Their ain't no "her part"! Nor is there a "his part". Its all "our part" as in both equally liable for the whole.

And except for tortuous acts (wrongdoings) committed by one which caused the other to suffer an injury, expense or compensable loss one spouse cannot sue the other.

On the other hand, an "ex-spouse" can enforce a divorce decree by hauling the other "ex-spouse" into court for not complying with it.
