What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania

My daughter has been living with her boyfriend for a couple years now in the bf's mothers home and now the boyfriend has kicked her out. She does not pay any rent or utilities (she use to but not recently due to job issues) but does help around the house. She tried speaking with the boyfriends mother but she doesn't want to get in the middle of it... is this legal and if not can she just walk to the house and insist on being let back in or call the cops? Also is there such a thing here in PA where she could sue for unlawful eviction?
