No this happens in hickory hills il, we keep getting tickets when I sleep over my girl friends house and forget to "call the car in"

The ticket is for parking my car between the hours of 2-6am

Here is the catch. There is no sign in the area where I park. There actually is no sign at all on the street.

Matter if fact there are no signs on any of the blocks yet this is a city law? One city over you don't get this ticket? Is there a way to fight this because that's complete bs how is someone supposed to know that ???? Drive to every police station and read there laws before you park somewhere or just READ THE STREET SIGN JUST LIKE IN CHICAGO !!

There are probably signs posted on roadways leading into that city.

Talk to the local police about the rules and regulations, otherwise you can adjudicate the ticket and see where that gets you.

You seem to imply that you've been ticketed before for the same thing. I would think after the first one you would not forget to "call the car in" (whatever that means).

I'd give you the first one...you didn't know. But why do you keep parking there now that you now?

ETA: Yeah, what HighwayMan said...

Obviously the person living in that city should know about the parking restrictions. Absent that, the first parking ticket might have been forgiven if you had asked, but in any case it should have been your last one. Your continued forgetfulness is no defense and I don't see how the presence of a sign would have improved your memory so I'm not sure why you're blaming the lack of signage.
