Will I get a red light camera ticket with no license plate but with CA temp tag?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I recently made a left turn on RED onto a road with red light cameras at an intersection in Culver City, CA (Los Angeles county). I drive a new car with no license plate, however, there's the CA temp registration stuck to the front windshield by the dealer.

1) Will I still get a red light ticket? Can the camera read the temp registration number off the front windshield?

2) I have read numerous articles online that if someone receives a red light camera ticket and does not respond to it in any form, LA court won't report it to the CA DMV. Is this a true statement? What are the consequences of not responding to such ticket?

1) If they can't see a license plate, they don't know where to bill. You lucked out.
