Hello. I'm new to this forum and US law at all. After 4 years of computer programming studies me and my friends want to try ourselves in game dev. After brainstorm session we decided to call ourselves wildcats game studio or wildcat studio for short.
Then we start googling to check that name. Unfortunatelly we found this website

https://sites.google.com/site/wildcatgamedesign/

But we really like that name so I dig up video with ''founders'' of that studio

https://sites.google.com/site/wildcatgamedesign/video/meet-the-wildcats

So in the end we thought we can take that name, but at the end of that video I saw copyright sign (©).
We still want to take that name so I searched https://copyright.gov and https://www.uspto.gov and we found nothing that confirmed us about claiming rights by those kids.

Can we name our studio or not? Please help.

This forum is for US law questions only. What is the name of your state? (I'm pretty sure you're not in the US, so what is the name of your country?)

Oh, and I want to know, because I want to avoid meeting in court for plagiarism. I've asked here because I assume they come from US.
