There's been a situation in which i seek legal advice . I am 15 years old & there had been an incident where i had sex with another 15/16 year old and without my consent or knowledge , he recorded me . He sent it out and a girl that i didnt like ( nor did she like me ) posted it on her social media for everybody to see . She quickly deleted but i have the proof that she posted it . After i found out that she posted it , we got into a fight off of school campus . I would like to press charges but i do not want to get in trouble myself . What would happen in this situation? If you call the police (that's how you would get charges pressed) you wouldn't get into legal trouble, but your parents and the school and the media and pretty much everyone else you know would find out.

The boy with whom you had sex would also get in trouble. Both him and the girl, if found guilty, would be considered sex offenders and required to register. Why wouldn't you have pressed charges against the boy who recorded it?
