What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Nevada
There's a piece of vacant land for sale in Humboldt County, Nevada, that is listed as having a domestic well already drilled. However, neither the county (assessor's office) nor the state (Division of Water Resources) has any record of a well being drilled on the property. Seller/realtor claims it was drilled in the late 1980's when "many wells were drilled without logs/documentation/permits". Is this a legal well, or not? If not, is there a way by which is can be registered with the state/county such that it can be used for domestic use?
