What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania

I've been getting calls from a company at the # 1-866-896-7942. It started about 6 months ago. They're stating that I signed up for a payday loan back in 2008 and never paid it, and they're going to issue an arrest warrant for me. I never signed up for a payday loan, but I did make some huge mistakes withy information back then. Everything they have from me is outdated, and I refused to update any info. They said that they deposited a payday loan into a Bank of America account, that I had for a very short period of time back in 2008. I was attempting to get credit through various credit card companies, the required a bank account for payments, but never got accepted for anything. I actually ended up getting charged for something or other on that account, and getting over drawn. It took me way to long to realize that I was getting charges on that account, so I ended up owing a ridiculous amount of money to Bank of America, but nothing was ever deposited into that account. They keep calling my mother too, saying that there is a warrant for my arrest and trying to get my information. Today, I spoke to them and refused to update info again, and asked them to send all information about this to my mother so I could seek legal advise and they refused to. The guy actually just kept saying "are you retarded" over an over again, until I started crying and my husband took the phone from me. I dont know what to do. I don't want to get into trouble for something I never did. I was 18 when I did this stupid stuff, and I've been paying on Bank of America for awhile. Now I fear that the people who ripped me of then, are trying to do it again and they're gonna get me in trouble. What should I do? Should I call someone? Please help

They keep calling my mom too, and she won't hang up and just keeps freaking out
I'm sorry, but we won't be able to help your mom learn how to hang up.

(Why some people feel they MUST [or listen] talk to someone just because they're on the phone is beyond me...)

Im just really worried because they have my SSN, or at least the last 4 and they keep telling Me they're going to go to my district court and file some sort of case there. I also, did try and get my bank statements from BoA, but they said they only go back 7years, so they wouldnt have record of 2008

There really is not much you can do. If you're sure you don't owe the money, you might as well wait for any paperwork from them/court if they do file before worrying.

It appears to me that any debt from 2008 would be beyond the statute of limitations. They know they've got you scared and they're trying to use that to make you pay. Next time, tell them firmly that you wish for them to cease all contact with you. Then, BLOCK THEIR NUMBER. If they're going to sue you, they're not going to serve you notice over the phone...

I will do that. I did get ahold of then again, and they said the original payday loan was in 2009, but it wasn't closed as delinquent until 2012. So, I might be getting close to the end of my statute of limitations, but they're succeeding in freaking me out. The only thing that pisses me off, even more, is I never got the payday loan. I can't prove it, I really wish i could. The company name is CFS mediation, I finally got that from them.
