I have a judgement in small claims. I still owe about $1000.00. The last check i sent the defendant i noted some vulgarities on the check.
She knows a deputy and asked him to scare me, he showed up in his cruiser and full uniform. I didn't answer the door and i also called the precinct to see why he was here. They had no knowledge of him being dispatched to my home. Is this legal?

Nothing you describe is illegal.

You didn't answer the door to the officer so your thoughts as to why he was at your house are speculation at best.

Writing vulgarities on a check is not an especially nice thing to do but is not necessarily breaking any law.

I suggest you pay the remaining $1000 owed. Make sure the one collecting records a satisfaction of judgment with the court once you make your final payment.

Good luck.

Might not be illegal but it could be behavior that could get him reprimanded by his superiors. You are free to file a written complaint with whoever is in charge.

Although a written complaint could be filed, I am curious what such a complaint would be based on. "An officer came to my house and I didn't respond to his knock on the door " is not much of a complaint.

Under no circumstances should keepyacool make false (or unprovable) statements about the officer.

If there was some evidence to support that allegation, it would be enough.
Sure. Evidence that supports the truth of any statements made by keepyacool about the officer would help.

I am not sure anyone would be stupid enough to write a message, or admit to saying, "I am going to send a cop to scare you," though. But it is possible.
