What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
My car was towed and ticketed on Sunset Blvd this weekend for the bus lane for the Dodger's Game. I was able to speak with the parking enforcement people and ask questions. They mentioned that temporary tow signs must be posted for a certain number of hours before(I forget how many) and must be displayed at least 20 feet in front of and 15 feet behind every parking space. When I investigated where I parked my car, the closest signs were 50 feet and 60 feet away from my spot and we also not facing perpendicular to the street, which made them more difficult to see. I've been trying to find the regulations on-line for what is required of the city to post for temporary tow zone spots(to corroborate what the parking enforcement man said), but I cannot find the information on-line. My ticketed violation was 80.69A M.C. Any regulations or laws on this violation will be helpful!
Thank you.
