What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I was arrested for a DWI in Austin's Travis County last year. On August 3rd, 2016, I was convicted of Obstruction of Highway instead, sentenced to 18 mos probation in lieu of 180 days in Travis County Jail. I'm 9 mos into probation as of June 3rd. I have a Harris County P.O. as well as a Travis County one. I contacted the Travis County PO today, and was barely informed that the Travis County judge issued a warrant for me, after having received a report of my violations 2 drug tests positive for alcohol, and a few car interlock incidents where I blew positive for alcohol. She recommended I turn myself in to Travis Co. What can I expect? Will I do the whole 180 days, still? Also, my interlock device was to be removed June 1st, but I didnt have the funds to pay for the removal fees, so my car is in lock out, and I'm not sure what to do about that if I go to jail.

If you violated the terms of your probation, probation can be revoked and your original sentence can be imposed, with additional penalties for the probation violations.

You should see an attorney in your area and have the attorney with you when you turn yourself in on the warrant.

In addition to quincy's advice, I suggest that you get yourself into some sort of treatment program, or at least go to AA meetings. You clearly have a problem - you've violated the terms of your probation several times, it cannot be called a fluke or mistake. Showing that you realize that you have a problem and are trying to address it would help you, legally.

Thank goodness your car is on lock out - society can't trust you to drive sober.

I agree, you need treatment because over time you are going to repeat the offense. Get treatment asap from 1 addict to another.

Although seeking out treatment is definitely wise and advised, and prosecutors and judges like to see that an offender is getting help for their drinking or drug problem - and this can be reflected positively for the offender in sentencing - unless or until an addict is ready to accept that they ARE an addict, treatment is as effective as jail time (i.e., not very).

The rock bottoms for addicts vary widely. Some might find bottom is their first arrest and others might not find bottom until their family and friends desert them, they lose their jobs, or they kill someone.

After you are arrested you will get a court date. The prosecutor will likely make you an offer which could either be a modification to your probation (ex: extension, inpatient or outpatient treatment, jail time as a condition, put on a substance abuse caseload, etc..) or a certain amount of jail time. You and your attorney can either negotiate a plea bargain or it will be set for a contested hearing in front of the judge. If the State can prove any one of the violations by a preponderance of the evidence then the Judge can either modify your probation or revoke it. If revoked you can be sentenced anywhere from 1 day in jail up to the full 180 days. No way to predict what will happen.
