If charges are "on hold" and then they press charges, when I'm 18, are they dropped?

In Montana, you can get your permit at 14.5. After 6 months, you can apply for a restricted license. (I received my restricted license in KS when I was 14!)
That is seriously ridiculously freaky. No way! Great. I thought 15.5 was young. But that is ludicrous.

My dad got his at 14, but I didn't that that under 16 was possible anywhere, anymore. Learn something new everyday.

Yeah. I can admit I was wrong . 14.5??? OH HECK NO... Dang... Thanks Cjane... And I could be wrong on the other thread (Child Support, McNice) by my reading of that thread, I think you are. Please review and give your opinion. If you can show me I am wrong with what I have given you, I will admit it. (Sorry for the slight hijack).

One thing that I would like to know is how is it that you could register a car and drive it if you are only 15?
I don't see where op claimed they were driving the car legally (and take note there was an additional charge op seemed to not recall what it was; maybe driving without a license?). I didn't see where op claimed car was registered in op's name either. Minors often refer to a car they drive regularly as "their car" although legally it is not their car.
