I was sentenced to drug court program in chickasha, Oklahoma. I never showed up or reported to program officer. They also said if I failed the drug court program that they would revocate me for the remaining time of my probation that I was on for a prior drug possession charge which is 7 yrs. I now live in California. Will California let Oklahoma extradite me for failing to report to the program?

If a warrant has been issued by Oklahoma on your failure to appear for the drug court program, and you are arrested in California, California will hold you on the warrant (for up to 30 days) until Oklahoma arranges for extradition or informs California that they do not intend to extradite.

If Oklahoma decides not to extradite, the warrant does not go away. You can be picked up in California or elsewhere, and held in jail on the warrant, again and again until you take care of the drug crime in Oklahoma. Taking care of the drug crime in Oklahoma means, depending on facts, a revocation of your probation, an imposition of the original penalties for the crime (e.g., jail time), and additional penalties related to the warrant.

You would be smart to speak to an attorney and seek assistance in handling the Oklahoma crime.

Your 4 words answered the question that was asked and I answered the questions that weren't asked but should have been. :)

Whether there will be any extradition depends on if a failure to appear warrant was issued by Oklahoma and whether birddogfaceboy is stopped by California police on another offense, which leads to him being held on the warrant.

It is possible birddogfaceboy can live out his life honestly and legally in California never having to deal with his Oklahoma drug crime at all.

California will allow for extradition should Oklahoma want to extradite but birddogfaceboy can also fight extradition to Oklahoma.
