hey guys im currently working on a large account with another sales rep in my company we are about to set up 182 separate accounts for a large company, in order to protect myself i want to get some sort of a contract that states that on this certain sale for this company that me and him are to split the accounts 50\50 because when we set the accounts up it has to go in one or the others name at the time of sale then the other rep will arbitrate half of them, i just want to be sure that this is all done legally between the two of us in case one or the other parties involved screws the other one over . it would be nice to have a pice of paper we both signed to have as a back up

Contract creation is beyond the scope of this forum. You will want to get the assistance of an attorney. You can try attorneypages.com, or our state BAR. If you are not in the United States, the advice to consult with an attorney remains the same.

Congratulations on your big sale.

I suggest you talk to YOUR employer about how to set this up so you are each assured of getting your share of the commission.

It's whoever pays you from whom you need to get something in writing because an agreement between you and the other sales rep is not binding on any other party.

What is the name of your state, smarthomepro?

I agree with adjusterjack that, if this is a client of the company that employs you, your employer needs to be involved in any agreement you decide to make with a coworker. If the company that employs you has a legal department, you and your coworker and your employer should seek contract assistance through the company's legal department (this if the arrangement you want to make is one your employer supports).

Good luck.
