I have a similar situation. I had a 4th DUI in 2010. They suspended my license for 4 years. DUI classes etc which i wasn't able to complete. In 2011 i was incarcerated for an unrelated offense. in 2015 when i was released from prison i went to DMV to see what i needed in order to obtain my Drivers license and they told me there was no record of me ever having a drivers license so i applied for a license and received a new license in the mail in march of 2016. however, now they put a "Driver Record Hold" on my license and told me that they need to "merge" both licenses to release the hold. I was wondering if once they "merge" my old license my new license will then be suspended even though they already issued it to me? I know the judge said 4 years suspension so that time obviously passed but will i still need to do the classes if it is suspended? thanks
