What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? KS
I live in KS and bought a car in OK almost a month ago. We signed contracts on a Saturday and 9 days later the dealer called and said my financing fell through and I need to sign a new contract. I told them I was not interested in a new contract I wanted to keep the old one. They told me I signed a "spot delivery" agreement stating that I was taking the car without financing secured. After reviewing my paperwork, I did indeed sign such document though it was never explained to me what I was signing... I guess that's on me! My question is, is there anything I can do other than take the car back if I don't want to sign the new contract? After 18 days had passed UPS dropped off a new contract for me to sign without me even agreeing to a new contract. I have not yet tagged the car, there is still 4 days left on the 30 day tag. I really feel like I've been duped. Every other car I have purchased from a dealer has been on a Saturday because I work during the week and have never had this problem before! I have no proof that my financing on the original deal did not go through. All I have is what the dealer is telling me and I don't feel they are being honest. Please help!!!
Thanks!

Have you reviewed the new contract? If you don't want to sign the new contract, then take the car back and buy one somewhere else.
