What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas. An agreement was reached to relinquish parental rights with an agreement for post-adoption visitation. The post-adoption visitation agreement was NOT included in the order submitted to the judge but should have been. Can the orders be amended? Is there anything that can be done afterwards? The adoptive parents are refusing visitation that was agreed because it wasn't included in the orders, possibly with deception from the lawyer to get the signature of the relinquishment of parental rights affidavit. Any advice would be appreciated. Proceeding further will be done Pro Se.

Texas law does allow for legally binding open adoption contracts. However, you did not sign an open adoption contract. What was submitted to the judge did not allow for post adoption visitation.

I do not think that you have any hope of prevailing however you could run it by a local adoption attorney to see what they might have to say.
