What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

My husband's car was repossessed by the lender, as he was only making partial payments and never discussed this with them. I was not on the loan AT ALL, as I know from experience that he is not the most responsible financially.

I was, however, listed on the car's registration. Will this repossession affect my credit standing? Can I be made liable for any of this debt?

Thank you.

No. MI is not a community property state and since you were not on the loan, it cannot effect your credit.
