I own a computer repair shop in Texas and I am starting to accumulate computers where I have performed repairs, but where the customers have not returned to pay for the repair, nor picked up their computers. I also have some computers that have been repaired and paid for, but still not picked up.

What recourse do I have to collect on the repairs? Can I legally sell the repaired computers for the cost of the repair? What about the computers that ARE paid for, but still remain in my shop?

What do your contracts say about unclaimed merchandise, etc.?

Unfortunately, there isn't anything covering this topic in the contract. I'm just starting out, so I will be amending my contracts to include this.
