Received letter from SSI stating they had received info from computer matching with the state reported wage. Am confused on what they mean . Nothing has changed in 8 years. Have telephone review tomorrow. Thanks for any insight! Am in Kentucky

I would suggest that you try to arrange to speak with them...but you already have! Let us know how it goes.

The SSA cross checks wage data with what they get and what the states receive each year. The have found some wages on you.
Assuming you didn't have wages you didn't tell them about this could be an error or it could be that someone is using your ID.

Because implementation of revisions to the archaic social security number itself are decades overdue and implementation of a meaningful ssn+biometric is a politcal impossibility, the numbers of the non-working often get used illegally. This is not an uncommon situation, so long as you follow up on correspondence and interviews, etc, you will be fine.
