What is the name of your state? Ohio My father has alztiemers my mother passed away 1 month ago a gold digger is trying to move in. The house is in his name. If he remarried if I put our named on the deed my brothers and me can she take the house?

That is a very complex question. The first question is how do you intend on putting your name on the deed? Is your father still mentally competent?

If you get guardianship you can prevent him from marrying the gold digger...which would make it unnecessary for ownership of the house to change.

If you believe you could get guardianship he isn’t capable of signing s deed now.

Yes there was. Same issue; different username. Daughter has a poa for dad in the other thread.
