I have information against a plaintiff...

Georgia. I know someone who has filed a wrongful termination suit against a large corporation in Georgia. She is claiming sexual discrimination. Her supervisor had received the promotion she wanted, and now she claims he made inappropriate comments and made her uncomfortable, so she refused to work with him. She was subsequently fired. This happened a little over a year ago and and she just now filed a case. She did not claim harassment to HR and just did this as an after thought (Me Too movement!). She extremely manipulative and is an outstanding victim. I have information that I would like to anonymously provide to the corporation's defense attorney... such as similar behavior at her job prior to the one that fired her. Can I do this?

You're free to contact the corporation (or its attorney), but your "information" is not going to be of any practical use to them. They almost certainly already know that she didn't make a timely report (and such is not necessarily required for the case). Your opinions as to her character are equally unimportant as far as the pending actions go.

Sure, you can do that. But understand that the information you provide anonymously may be completely worthless to the defense. The defense cannot use that anonymous tip in court. Unless they can find a witness or other admissible evidence of what you told them they won't be able to make any use of it.

You should probably stop obsessing about a lady whose life is, frankly, none of your business. It's not a good look for you.

Now, now... I didn't come here for moral-code, but do appreciate the guidance. Minding one's business is certainly sage advice!
But stop and think about why I'm here... How do you know it's none of my business? Did you know I'm part of a suit brought on by this sue-happy individual just one month prior to the above mentioned? Of course not. Did you know that the "facts" presented in the former greatly differ from the "facts" presented in one that certainly is my business? Nope. I wasn't supposed to know about the other case. But I do and here we are, me on a free advice forum getting some free advice :). I like you, CTU. No drama llama for life! :cool:

Of course not. Did you know that the "facts" presented in the former greatly differ from the "facts" presented in one that certainly is my business? Nope. Exactly how are you "part of" this suit? Are you one of the accused? If you are, what is prohibiting you from giving this information you have to your employer? Why would you want to withhold it?

True enough! It does come across as quite petty otherwise, doesn't it? Or... I suppose it seems catty either way. I'll own it - it's vengence for malicious behavior. But it's all 100% fact based!

In excess of catty. And if you are going to "own it" you might want to drop the "anonymous" in your reporting.

You have no way of knowing what occurred in the case you are sticking your nose into. You weren't there so you don't know if her case has merit or not.

I doubt that matters to OP...S/he is out for revenge. But vengeance can bite you in the ...bottom. Hopefully OP will learn that lesson quickly.
