I live rurally, last night my friend had 3 and a half pints and my friend had 11 and he drove us home. I got there in one piece and so did he.

The new limits are stupid and over-restrictive. No one crashed after 3 or 4 pints. Let's restore the old limit of 0.08 %.

Discuss.

I would suspect that this person is in another country. One where there is a traditional sort of "get sloshed in the tavern, walk home" or take the cab, ride the tram, ride the horse, ride the bicycle, whatever mindset. These particular bozos just happen to have a car. Yo ho. And these jolly old travelers would be potential lunchmeat, and would create tragedy if they had to go out after their "pints" and take on an American expressway. Drunk driving is like drunk....anything. You're impaired.
