What does it mean when your file status is "Out" in probate court?

Went to the court house today to check on the status of my divorce nisi as I was wondering if I had filed all the needed documents. I hadn't heard anything back from the judge signing anything in my case. I filed a little over two years ago. The clerk couldn't give me any further information. Do I need to go back sometime in the future or continue to wait.

Two years a really long time for nothing to have happened. You clearly don't know what you are doing so you really need a lawyer.

Are you sure about that? Because according to RI, divorce cases are heard in Family Court, not Probate.
