I am Thai and my english is not well. Last year,I went to USA with J-1 Visa work and travel program. I know, I have right to refund my federal tax. So I let someone be my agent to manage it for me. After 2 months I've not recieve any thing. And I cannot check my status because she didn't told me exact amount refund. she dissapeared. I don't know how to do.

Do you have an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)? If you have an ITIN then you should be able to inquire to the IRS whether a return was filed for you that year and if so whether a refund was issued. You can then figure out from there whether a correct return was filed for you and if it was, you can pursue getting a refund reissued if you didn't get it. You can contact the IRS office for International Services to help you.
