Depends entirely on the terms and conditions of your listing contract. Read it thoroughly and carefully. Those listing contracts often have a "tail." Especially if that person saw the home during the listing period.

Yeah - read the contract carefully.

The "tail" could be as long as 3 or 6 months.

But usually doesn't apply if you advertised after the listing expired and found a buyer that hadn't been shown the house during the listing period.
