When I was a kid, my parents took me and my siblings to some sort of event at Hart Plaza in Detroit. Appearing at the event was Tor Zacchini, a young relative of the famous Zacchini Brothers (Ringling Brothers’ human cannonballs).

Tor took over where his relatives left off. He was shot from a cannon into a net. I have his autograph somewhere. Haha.

Using a trebuchet to cross the border no doubt would be a safer with a net on the other side.
