I was thinking along those lines, plus I can be in a different room. Outside problem would be allergies an this is New Hampshire.....it's getting pretty chilly out. Shouldn't I have been notified in advance? My arthritis, issues from several previous broken wrists and a broken arm (had to do tendon transfers) make putting one on,,,,NOPE. Give me a break, I'm a 71 year old gramma.
If you can pull up your pants after using the bathroom, then you can slip the bands around your ears. I'm from Mass and lived in NH for 4 years...A coat/gloves/scarf/hat would help deflect some of that New England chill. And considering you are a "71 year old gramma", that is even MORE reason for you to wear a mask and insist others wear one as well.

If you can feed yourself, putting on a mask should not be difficult.

purpleangel will want to contact DHHS, then, to discuss mask-wearing.

The Department of Health and Human Services is going to follow the State’s lead on Covid-19 protections for workers.

Live Free or Die New Hampshire doesn't have a mask mandate, but many cities/towns have enacted one. My Mom is in Nashua and that city has a mask mandate. Common sense would tell one that if a person is going home to home for cleaning services then it is safer for all to insist both the cleaner and the client wear a mask for both persons safety.

From what I gleaned by reading the site I linked, OP is not required to wear a mask...but she may lose her cleaning service if she won't. I, personally, think coming to a middle ground and stepping outside for the duration of the service is a reasonable solution. A warm coat, hat, gloves, and scarf will stave off the chill of a brisk New Hampshire autumn day. OP could even ask her PCP for a small prescription for a anti-anxiety medication such as Ativan, which from personal experience I know works wonders on a panic attack. If she were to take one when the cleaning service arrived or just before, she would be able to wear a mask without/little anxiety.

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? NH
Apologies, for not following the rules. I'm a new-bie and have never had to do anything like this before. The good news is that the issue has been resolved and the agency is giving me some more time to make up for the problem. Also will talk to the person who made me have a horrible week-end. Redundantly, the conversation was interesting and quite the learning experience. Thank you all.
