What is the name of your state? Ohio

I worked in the city of Gahanna until March of this year, when I was sent home to work (I live outside any city limits). I understand that there's a state law under the Covid emergency that for local tax purposes, I still worked in the office. Yesterday, I was informed that I will no longer have office space and will be working from home permanently. Am I exempt from local taxes at this point? Thanks in advance.

Here is a link to Gahanna tax information with numbers you can call to get your questions on the local taxes answered:

There are a few exemptions from the local tax, one for moving outside the regional income tax agency (RITA) municipality. I don’t know if that applies to you, however, if your employer is still located in Gahanna.

Living outside any municipality, I would think it would apply.
