Thanks in advance and happy holidays to all. You read this far why not go a little further.
WHERE: IOWA
WHAT:CRIMINAL LAW
BACK STORY: (My best friend has been arrested and charged for domestic abuse... 2nd offence... it should be noted she has a prior domestic on her record. so to clear any confusion they both have a prior conviction of domestic abuse... After he was arrested and charged several witnesses to statements made by the female protected party. Indicate they overheard her brag about having her daughter hit her to leave marks and even the daughter has admitted to doing so... My friend hopes he will be advised to mend the relationship because she will confess she lied (purjer herself and this will go away or could.)
He does have a lawyer... im not trying to burst his bubble but I dont think there is a remote chance his lawyer will advise of this regardless of the victims willfulness to admit they pied and broke the law. especially when a NCO was issued but i cannot determine weather its active or not or have had trouble finding its status (most likely not disclosed due to nature of case) but he seems to think its plausible.. i forsee more legal troubles potentially..
THE QUESTION: Is he crazy? or is this plausible?
