I’m currently going through a break up that will lead to a divorce we live in a housing association place ( I’m not on the tenancy) I’ve moved out what I’d like to know is do I have to keep paying bills if not living there

What is the name of your state? Do you have children still living in the residence?

If you are named on a bill (e.g., gas, electric, water, internet), you need to pay the bill or you risk ruining your credit or getting sued for non-payment. If you are not on the lease, you technically do not have to pay the rent unless there was some agreement made to the contrary either with the landlord or with your spouse.

In any future posts, please make an effort to use something that resembles proper punctuation and capitalization. Doing so will make it easier for others to read and understand what you write.

Sooo...you rent a home? And you're not listed on the lease as a tenant? Only your spouse is on the lease? If so, how did that happen?

do I have to keep paying bills if not living there
You moving out will not alter your legal obligations to "pay[] bills." If you're obligated now, you'll be obligated when you move out. The law has nothing to say about how a married couple handles its finances when no divorce has been filed.

Could you be a little more descriptive of the situation? It is possibly not quite as simple as you think it is. For example, you credit might not get dinged if you are not on the lease, but you could get seriously dinged in court for not paying towards the bills, depending on the overall facts of the marital situation and the divorce.
