I lack (and everyone else here lacks) sufficient factual knowledge to form an intelligent opinion about this stuff.
Sorry, I just didn't know if there was some kind of time limit that I needed to adhere to, like I needed to wait 30 days before submitting it. I couldn't find anything about it online.

What sort of "demand" are you talking about? Just a letter? If so, you don't file that with the court.
I just meant a demand for production of preliminary declaration of disclosure, and filing proof of service of that with the court. I apologize; I'm sure I'm mis-speaking on a lot of this stuff - I don't think I've ever said or typed the word "declaration" so much in my life. =)

A certificate of service stating you served defendant is required normally within 3 days...If you want to demand declaration of disclosure file it with the court and certificate of service dated within three days of filing that you have served your spouse.

Thank you so much for your replies! I'll get this going today methinks. I've been waiting for a year for him to do what he was supposed to do. I'm kind of done waiting. =)
