You have been provided an analysis of your situation. Now you get to make a decision to accept the rent reduction as proposed or not. There's no way to predict whether anything goes wrong at some future date.

I do understand the implications of not having John’s signature, very many thanks. Based on the advice received, I and Jones decided to talk to John and convince him to agree for rent reduction. Once John agree (only when John also agree), we all three prepare and sign the Amendment.

As wrote above, the Lease states, No alteration, amendment, change, or addition to this Lease shall be binding on Landlord or Tenant, unless reduced to writing and signed by them and by direct reference made a part hereof.
What specific language the amendment should contain to satisfy “by direct reference made a part hereof”? If we write as follows in the amendment will it satisfy?

This Amendment is part of the Lease made on 3rd day of December of 2018, by and between John and Jones (Landlord) and Alex (Tenant), …

Please direct me.

We cannot tell you what needs to be included in the lease addendum. If you have questions about the protection the lease addendum provides you, you will need to have your lease and the addendum personally reviewed by an attorney in your area.

You should not sign anything until you fully understand what you are signing and all effects the agreement has on you.

I think you are smart to have both of the landlords sign.

Good luck.

I can't tell you what to do but if I still had my rentals that would work for me.

Understood. I read info on necessary elements of Florida contract. One thing puzzling me is if it is necessary have something similar to in a contract (I did not find in my readings but want to make sure):

if any conflict arises between the landlord and tenant....

Are you asking if it is necessary to have a clause that spells out what should happen in the event of a dispute? If so, that is not a mandatory element of a contract but it is smart to have such a clause.
