Based on the advice received, I and Jones decided to talk to John and convince him to agree for rent reduction. Once John agree (only when John also agree), we all three prepare and sign the Amendment.

What specific language the amendment should contain to satisfy “by direct reference made a part hereof”? If we write as follows in the amendment will it satisfy?

Are you asking if it is necessary to have a clause that spells out what should happen in the event of a dispute? If so, that is not a mandatory element of a contract but it is smart to have such a clause.Understood. I read info on necessary elements of Florida contract. One thing puzzling me is if it is necessary have something similar to in a contract (I did not find in my readings but want to make sure):
