What is the name of your state? KY

quick back story - ex husband refused to support our child as our 2008 Property Settlement (PSA) outlined (half of medical, half of tuition, carry secondary health insurance, etc) and I would no seek child support so long as he did his part.
I would send bills he would ignore, refused to help. I finally decided to file for child support in Sept 2016. It was delayed by my state (AL) in sending it to his (KY) - excessively delayed. Finally got there Oct 2019!! Then COVID shut down the courts. Then his attorney obtained ridiculous delays (one trial cancellation was for a hunting trip) Fast forward, our child turned 18 a month prior to our final trial.
Order was written and I got it today in the mail (I have represented myself throughout).
He is ordered to pay $9,480 in unreimbursed medical expense and tuition as outline in the PSA plus child support from Oct 2019 through May 2022. It says that I am the judgement creditor and I can use any legal means to get the full amount. It does not sound like the county attorney or child support office will do anything about collection.
It says he is to start paying $600/mo til satisfied and interest is 6% but I read that judgements are not self enforceable so what do I now? How do I start?

You're right. The courts don't actually "do" anything. They order things done and provide penalties if they don't get done.

Here are three enforcement techniques available to you.

1 - Wage garnishment. Easy if he has a job and you know where he works.

See the following search results and go to your court and see if there is a forms and instructions packet.

kentucky wage garnishment forms and instructions at DuckDuckGo

2 - Bank account levy. Also easy if you know where he has a bank account. Check the following link for forms and instructions.

Legal Forms - Kentucky Court of Justice (kycourts.gov)

3 - Judgment lien. If he owns a home filing a judgment lien on the home will make it difficult for him to sell it or refinance it. It will also apply to a home he buys in the future. Judgment liens don't get you any money any time soon, unfortunately.

Thank you!
He works for his parents so he very easy became “unemployed” after my case was filed. Of course he has a brand new F150, an RV, and all the things an unemployed person wouldn’t have lol
I assume he would be back to working now. His wife works at a bank so I’m sure they bank there! Do I need to wait a certain amount of time before going for it? Judgement says for him to start paying Aug 1 but I doubt he will so I guess start pursuing these avenues the 15th?

It's quite possible that his wife owns a brand new F150 and an RV and all the things that an employed person may own.

Don't assume that he has an account there...and you can't take his wife's account.

You can make preparations now to enforce the judgment but your ex is (apparently) not required to start paying until August 1.
