today, june 24, 2023, i was visiting a lifetime friend, her sister lives next door/duplex, they each have their own address, this duplex is pd for/govt funded which was for the sisters mother and aunt who are now deceased. from what i recall when working in law enforcement, my friends sister has NO right to try to tell me or get me to leave by law enforcement because she does NOT reside there. The issue was because i parked on the grass. note....the grass is a foot tall! if the law still stands, my friends sister has no right to tell me to leave and she also threatened me. i remained calm, and collective. feedback will be appreciated.

You're right, she has no right to tell you to leave.

But she does have the right to report your car and have it towed if there is some sort of ordinance prohibiting parking on a section of a lot that's not qualified for parking cars. Most cities have such ordinances. All you had to do was move your car off the grass and go back to visiting your friend.

So? What did you do, and what happened, after she told you to leave?

AND...if such an ordinance exists it doesn't matter if the grass happens to be a foot high on the day you park on it, your car can still get towed. The ordinance won't say that you can't park on the grass unless it happens to be overdue to be mowed. It will just say that you can't park on the grass.

Your friend’s sister has the right to tell you to move your car. You have the right to ignore her or tell her to mind her own business. And, if you park your car in violation of a city ordinance, law enforcement has the right to ticket you or tow your car, depending on the wording of the ordinance.

All threats of violence can be reported to the police.

Shucks! Standing or sitting law enforcement will never be the same.

By the way I recall having an uncle whose jobs was swabbing the jail house floors. Would that count as working in law enforcement? Or would the unfortunate fact that he was a temporary guest disqualify him?

I REFUSED TO LEAVE, I KEPT VISITING WITH MY FRIEND. AND THERE IS NO ORDIANCE THERE, IF YOU WERE TO SEE THE NEIGHBORS YARD,/HOME NEXT DOOR AND ACROSS THE STREET, ITS AWFUL, YRS AGO IT WASNT LIKE THIS. I UNLOADED SOME LAMPS ETC FOR GEORGIA, AND HER SISTER STATED "DONT PARK ON GRASS UNLESS YOU ARE UNLOADING SOMETHING" ... IF YOU KNEW HER SISTER, YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND, SHE HAS NO FRIENDS, UNHAPPY PERSON, AND IN MY OPINION , SHE NEEDS TO BE MEDICATED. I FEEL FOR GEORGIA WHO PUTS UP WITH HER SISTERS RUDENESS,, CONTROLLING ETC. . THANKS FOR YOU REPLY.

Jack said that posting in all caps was hard, annoying and equivalent of screaming...he made no such comment that it was "childish"...although your above comment is incredibly childish and rude.

If you can't/won't behave in a civil, polite and courteous manner towards the kind people who VOLUNTEER their time on this site, then go put those mad research skills of yours to use and find the answers to your petty problem yourself.

You are not important enough to affect my mood. But I do suggest you stop acting like a 11-year-old if you wish the volunteers of this site to assist you.

I also suggest you read the terms of this site, conveniently located at the bottom of every page. Your behavior and language violate those terms.
Keep in mind this is a legal site and members are expected to act like adults...not vulgar, illiterate and petulant tweenies.

I seem to recall a poster waaaaay back who posted in all caps. When it was pointed out that it is considered shouting online, they simply indicated that they had vision problems and posting in all caps was easier for them. End of story.
