     I believe the grill was shipped directly from Amazon. To my knowledge Amazon does not sell counterfeit or stolen merchandise. I think it would be incredible unfair to assume that you are purchasing stolen or counterfeit merchandise unless you buy from home depot

     Yes, as far as online receipts go. Its not from a cash register like you get from home depot but rather an email confirmation acknowledge what was purchase, a price, a payment method,etc.. You have made purchase online before right?

      It was a Christmas gift originally purchased online at Amazon. Appearently manufacturer is having issues with fact its an online sales vs physical store sales such as home depot, Lowes, Walmart, Ace,etc.. This information is not disclosed in their warranty page that came with the grill.

      The warranty page has no written statement of which companies are authorized vs unauthorized to sell the product. Is the purchaser suppose to be a mind reader or randomly guess? The item was purchase brand new factory sealed. The warranty page has no information to address any of this.
