  In other words. If you moved in three years ago and the carpet was old then you don't need to pay for the full value of new carpet. I think of carpet is 10 years old it has no value.   Sounds like you are living in a group home type situation rather than a college dorm. If so, have you contacted your social worker to see about finding a different place, better managed place? Maybe your parents can talk to social worker also. That is, if that is what is the is going on.

  Ask your Dad insurance agent if there is any coverage for identity theft. I was reminded last month when going over my home owners policy with my agent that the policy covers it and helps to correct and reimburse some things also. Doesn't hurt to ask. Sorry for all your and father's problems...
